'Generation Kill'

Starting Wednesday 7th October on Channel 4 at 11.20pm. This is a five episode drama series following the true story of an embedded reporter with a US Marine recon unit in the Gulf War.
I've seen the series and can tell you its really well written, acted and produced. I couldn't recommend it more hightly.
A few months ago the female director was interviewed on the BBC and she talked about making the series as realistic as possible - for this she had a few of the 'real marines' as script and direction advisors. They also play themselves in the series. Its about authentic as you can get. (And for the more disturbed amongst us - yes there are lots of blood and guts).

PS look out for the hardnut Marine Colonel who is a dead ringer for our Dane!

i ll catch guarno, i can have his series for a few weeks to watch

Me loves this serie. Watched all 7 episodes. Wondering if there's more to come
