Hello all !
Another movie seen in cinema, another review, another emotions... At first I haven't got any special reaction towards this movie as i wasn't a fan of the animated series myself, nevertheless i decided to go and have a look and see what my final judgement will be... lol...

In short the movie is centered around two fractions of robots, scattered around the universe after their beloved planet was destroyed and the core (a nice cube with strange powers - it resembles the one used in Hellraiser series) and its whereabouts became unknown...

Our main hero Sam (Shia Leaboff) which is on his way to have his first car bought by his strict and loveable father lol... Soon they discover that the only available car to buy is an old Chevrolet Camaro whish acts a bit strange :)

Later on all the familiar robots (well most of them) appeared when they sense the power of their cube hidden somewhere around a dam... This is when the battle begins and all hell breaks loose on Earth as the good robots (Optimus Prime - their leader) and bad robots (Megathron - their leader :) clash in a real Battle of Titans and maybe there is going to be a second part and I won't blame them...

What really was interesting from is the fact that the whole movie looks and feels huge as the robots transform themselves into vehicles and back while fighting with the bad guys...

sequences (excluding some boring and tastefull examples of cheesy humour) was elaborately set and executed, the special effects were by far one of the best I've seen so far, however they didn't diminished the fact that the movie itself was a very well structured piece of filmaking, and not just an expensive excercise of CGI images showing off the creator's ideas...

It has almost equal doses of laugh, thrill, action, drama, and heroism all mixed very well and stirred to almost cinematic perfection by all of the crew involved and director Michael Bay... If you have a spare 2 hours and 15 minutes left in your busy schedule I recommend to go and see it... 9/10 score for me...

All the best from me
