I saw that film yesterday - disappointed really, Stalone is trying to revive the old boxing hero, but it does not contain the same power and magnitude as the first "Rocky". When someone is running out of ideas "the-tried-and-true" sequel is always easy to do, but not always easy to swallow...

Rocky 1,2,3,4,5 is one of the best film serial i ever seen, and it is good feeling in the movies... and i think that they best movies ever was made on 70-80īs... like the godfather, scarface, rainman, at clost range and much more.. soo when i heard that they were making a new rocky agin at 2006:S.. i thinked it just couldnt be good! and i was really surprised after i watched it.. soo belive it or not, in my eyes they did it well to be in 2006.
stalone still owns.. i can agree that the feeling is not the same as in the old rockyīs.. But remember this is 2007 and all movies they make is ****, so donīt blame Old school rockt for that.. AND DONīT FORGET THAT IVAN DRAGO IN ROCKY 4 IS SWEDISH:d

Oh yeah, the most intelligent actor in Hollywood Dolf Lundgren (IQ of 193 I think), where did he got lost from the movie scene? He had some great movies before (Universal Soldier, Showdown in Little Tokyo)... As on the Stallone himself, he is been saying that will make a sequel to "Rambo" also... I think I'll pass that too... The feeling and the charge (emotional or visual) is just not the same...

I agree on that m8, maybe I'm just missing the old ways of making movies, even with the new Star Wars trilogy (I'm a huge fan of this movies, but nothing can beats the old episodes) I don't find the same atmosphere and feeling when i watch it... Maybe I'm getting old or my movie senses got refined over the years... On the good side - the new James Bond movie was a nice surprise, and brother Denzel is still watchable in "Deja Vu"... Waiting on new Indiana Jones film (somewhere in 2008) and new installment in "Die Hard" series, although Bruce Willis will not be the same John McLane as before...

Yeah he was missing in the new James Bond movie... Probably in the next one he will be added successfully - I hope to be again played by John Cleese... As for Die Hard - I agree with you completely... Looking forward to it (when it is done), I saw the trailer on imdb.com - looks really promising...
