Euro Domination League - Season 5

Hi,

We would like to draw your attention to a unique Call of Duty 2 league: Euro Domination (www.eurodomination.co.uk (http://www.eurodomination.co.uk)).

The setup is different from any other league or ladder system. In Euro Domination, clans fight to occupy the countries of Europe. For example, France is represented by Carentan. To occupy France, you play on Carentan against another clan. The match winner gains the country and will have to defend it in future challenges. There are 32 countries to fight for including a few custom maps.

Note: we do not use BJBustReal mod in any of the current divisions. But if there is enough interest, we can create a division for clans that prefer to play with this mod.

The season winners will receive prizes of a server from our sponsor 24-Play, plus medals and cups will be shown on the Clan Profile page.

At Euro Domination, we support servers that stream to PunksBusted or Game Violations, giving all clans from any league the chance to play others. We support Search & Destroy and Capture The Flag in teamsizes of 5 to 8.

Clans of any skill level will be welcome in Euro Domination, as we are in the process of having a Med/High and a Med/Low skilled Division.

and it always good to play a second league, and with ctf some people would play more again, you never know ?

but fuw question:

do we have enough active people to play a second league ?

and you can win prizes ? think in the past you made really clear we do not play leagues with prizes ?

Hi, thanks for the replies so far.

On E-Dom clans have to make themselves available for at least 1 day per week to defend their countries (if you have any). Unlike most other leagues, we have a unique challenging system where we distinguish between valid and invalid reasons for rejection.

This means that you can have a set day or days for incoming challenges, which should be easy to combine with other leagues. Most clans in E-Dom are also in other leagues. Outgoing challenges can be done at any day/time within your opponent's schedule.

About the prizes, well yes we do have prizes but that's just to reward the clan that ends on the top. That clan will receive a server for 3 months from our sponsor, so it's not like you can win any money or anything. So far I have the impression that most (if not all) clans are in E-Dom for the fun and not for the prizes.

With nearly 100 matches played each week, it is one of the busiest leagues around.The setup is different from any other league or ladder system. In Euro Domination, clans fight to occupy the countries of Europe. For example, France is represented by Carentan. To occupy France, you play on Carentan against another clan. The match winner gains the country and will have to defend it in future challenges. Matches are played on one map only, but you can play multiple matches on one night. We have a unique challenge system, that dynamically determines how often clans have to be available, depending on the number of countries they occupy.We require clans to stream their Punkbuster server logs to PBBans. Because PBBans use a superior streaming method, PBBans streaming can run in parallel with PunksBusted or Game-Violations streaming.
