Hello all,
Long time no post, and today I decide to get back on the familiar ground by making a review on the last movie i saw... I've post another thread here, but eventually it was lost during the reorganization of the database - no problem i can write it again...hehe...The movie is called "Ultraviolet" with Mila Yovovich in the main lead... The director Kurt Wimmer makes one hell of a mess this time (considering the previous movie "Equilibrium" with Christian Bail") and this one if far behind its predecesor... Sadly it is more like a game than a movie, with hyper realistic gun-play (the infamous gun-kata developed in "Equilibrium") and highly edited hand-to-hand combat scenes (not counting the running time of 87 (!!!) minutes) which ruined my entertainment value and pleasure while I was watching it... poor acting also contributed to the weak points of the movie, but there is one major issue - the complete film was taken from director's hands and fully edited (why?) by some other people... Sad and a big dissapointment in my eyes, because the film could have been better, much better... If you have the nerves to watch it - go ahead, but I warn you at least that it is a waste of time... All the best and greetings from my movie vault... cheers
