Hello AA boons :D
I'm a researcher in a Call of Duty 2 Total Conversion called Resistance From Within, and we're looking for members! I know there's alot of talented people here, so please take the time to read this "press release":
Instead of posting all the media I want to share with you, I've decided to push that off until the 1st of July, as I feel it's more important to expand the team up until then. So this is why I'm here; we already have an active and lively team, but for the size of the mod we could use a few more members. I've posted a list below of what we would ideally have. We're aware that we won't fill all these slots but the more we can get, the better.
3 Weapon Modelers
1 Character Modeler
1 Prop Modeler
2 Weapon Skinners
1 Character Skinner
1 Prop Skinner
2 Mappers (preferably with excellent knowledge of terrain)
2 Prefab Makers (mainly buildings)
2 Coders
1 Graphics Artist
If you are able to help and can fit any of the above (even if more than one), please contact our project manager immediately via MSN at joelcoldson@hotmail.com.
For those of you who aren't able to fill these positions and feel maybe this mod is dying due to lack of members, I want to point out we're fine; we're just looking to expand the team so we can bring a release closer. We're making a lot of progress on the mod but still feel it could be going more quickly, provided we had a bigger team (especially on the modeling side).
Hope you're all looking forward to some more media as it should be coming to you all on July 1st!

It does not say what the mod/project is about. It just says that they need some people to do some work for them.
But I have my own mods to tend to...

Sorry BJ, I thought the thread I linked to contained the proper info.
The mod is about the resistance in Europe during WWII, focusing on the homefront action, featuring new nations and their respective weapons :)
and we could use your skills BJ ;)

because that's the only model we've "leaked" yet. And since this is supposed to be a total conversion, everything will be redone, even already existing weapons :)

As promised on the 31st of August we've released our "massive" media collection. This update on the mods progress will shed a light in almost every corner of our development to show the community were serious about what were doing & were not giving up. All the media found in this update will be added to our gallery over the next few days. As you read this update keep in mind we've only just started. Were still breaking the mold from what we were told we could & couldn’t do, so expect a lot more. Destructible Environments
Below is a link to a small trailer about RFW's newest feature Destroyable Environments, to make it easy to understand if you through a grenade at a wall it will blow up so you can pass through the hole you create, it opens up game play a lot within the mod as it means players can make their own routes to achieve their goals. Their is still some minor tweaking going on with this new function however for the most parts its being added into the other maps in development as we feel this will be a huge feature to include in the mod, download the movie & check for yourself.

Character Skins
Below we have a small preview of things to come, this shows the British medic & soldier as well as the Russian Medic & Engineer. These skins will all feature in the mods mp & sp as we will include certain sp missions which depending on your class you will complete different tasks & take different paths through the game. As well as this it is the start to our very own class system which is currently under development.

Weapon Skins
Due to a lack of modellers involved in our team we've taken the precaution of re-skinning all the stock weapons (the main ones can be seen below). We hope we don’t have to use these in the final release but we thought we would show them as we may need to include them. At present we have a small group of modellers on the team so it wouldn’t be feasible to recreate all the stock weapons, although if we get more modellers or free up some time we will begin to replace them with our own. Remember, it’s always nice to have a backup plan, and these are ours.

RFW Carentan
June 6th 1944, As part of the allied invasion of Normandy and a paratrooper in the US 101st Airborne division, you are given the task of seizing the town of Carentan. Assault the town and make your own route to your objective.... RFW brings you Carentan Single Player for the first time in a 1st person shooter and lets YOU choose how to accomplish your objective!

RFW Stokkan
This RFW map has been developed for both MP & SP game play, the multiplayer aspect of the map will strive on teamwork by requiring good communication amongst players to achieve their goals, similar to this is the Single Player game play however, Stokkan is home to some of the biggest explosions that will be found in RFW. It will also be the primary home to a new gametype in development "Reinforcements".

RFW Water Facility
This RFW map is based on the Norwegian Heavy Water plant that was used by Axis forces during World War 2. The map has a kind of FEAR theme to it where lighting and small details like pipes/wires and texturing are made to create a continuous atmosphere throughout the level. This is also the first map to feature some of our new destructible system.

RFW Countryside
Unlike any other COD2 stock map and indeed custom map to date, this level is completely wide open fields, Allies use the shell holes, hedges and fallen trees as cover as they rush across open land, then storm the Axis radio station. A snipers heaven in Deathmatch, this map will play a vital role in clans wanting a strategic Search & Destroy playing field.

Wallpapers
Well since we've been around for quite a while now & have quite a following we would like to release some Wallpapers to the community for use on your desktop. If you are interested in a RFW wallpaper but can’t find the right image here then feel free to contact us on our forums.

This just about wraps up our media release this time, stay tuned as theirs still lots more to come & were busy trying to bring new features to Call Of Duty2 to improve the game play for everyone who wants to give us a try.
