if the symbol that you got was different from the one your number relates to then you either can't add and subtract or your not reading the instruction correctly as its impossible for the programme to choose the incorrect symbol :grin1:

So, how is it impossible for the program to choose the incorrect symbol?

It impossible because....... the grid that you look at to find your number changes on every go, and if you look close enough you will notice that all multiples of 9 have the same symbol. so 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72 and 81 on the grid will be the same symbol.
No matter what combination of 2 numbers you choose, by adding both numbers together and subtracting that number from your original it will always work out at something x 9 i'e
(73 ) 7+3 = 10, 73-10 = (63 )...mulitple of 9.
(22 ) 2+2 = 4, 22-4 = (18 )...multiple of 9.
(48 ) 4+8 = 12, 48-12 = (36 ) another multiple of 9.
So think about it, if no matter what numbers you choose add to a multiple of 9, the only way the symbol that shows can be different from the one you your looking at will be if you can't add/subtract correctly, or your not doing what its asking you to do :tongue_laugh:
