A small movie making guide for cod2
I got a little tired of all guys asking the same things;)
------------record------------------------
If u use fraps just start fraps (screen recorder program)
which also records sound

(with the unregistered version u get a tiny fraps logo on top of the screen and can only record 30 sec....*chough dc++ cough*:p)
then u start the demo through your cod2 console: /demo (name)

there is some cool thing u can do in seismovision:
*Toggle Third-person mode (pan and range)
*Increase Playback Speed by 0.1 below 1.0 and doubles above 1.0
*Freezes demo (pictures freezes, but demo continues at slow pace)
*Toggle Timer
install seismovision then just double click on the demo u want to start
( aviable with playlist if u buy it) then u start recording your screen with frasp (default f9)
then u get HUGE .avi files in your fraps folder. I hate the files size because if u want really nice quality u get a BIG movie size.. then can u just drag the .avi into yor movie editing program..

there is also a another way..
use the commands /cl_avidemo 30 (the number is pics taken every second i think, the higher number the better quality but a enourmous rendering time and file sizes) (25 is pal) to take screenshots in .tga format, these files comes to your cod2 screenshot folder.
Then you must convert those SS wiht ACDsee 8 into .jpeg files. Then you use JpegtoAvi program to make your video.
or use a .tga to .jpeg then the other converter jpeg to avi. this is a very hard way...prefer fraps:p
or to convert it in virtualdub, go to File -> Open Video File..., click on the first .tga ss, make sure you have the Automatically Load Linked Segments box checked, then hit Open, then go to File -> Save as .avi
name the clip something then hit Save, and it should start rendering and you will get a .avi clip

if u never have made any editing start with windows movie maker2 which is very simple, but very few effects (if u have xp u have it installed)
*when u render u can switch the configurations to 2,1mbit/s playin then u got a nice quality.
*if u want u can remove the sound from the clips(no bad with having the rifle sound but u get a much better sound quality) in the left corner in the volymadjustments. turn it to music only.

there is also tutorials. But my advice is if u have some editing skills, use a another program like sony vegas..

if u wanna make a cool wireframe effect then type in your console
*warning*
/r_showTris [0,1,2] - If set to 1 or 2 enables simple or detailed wireframe mode. only do this on your own server beacuse some considering this as a cheat, and i don't think it is being able to turn on if your'e not an admin. so again create your own server when making this effect.
(I don't understand why it's called a cheat..I't even makes it worse playin)
