Spawn Protection

Is it just us or has spawn protection changed with the latest BJRealism?

It seems like all players are now pretty much spawned within sight of one another. This can make for a rather exciting game at times ;-) but it would also be nice if the distance between players could be increased.

Short of turning it off is there a way to change the spawn settings?

spawns are not set in the realism but in the maps itself.
All BJR does is define a timeframe in which you can't be killed or injured.
