Important information regarding BJR and 1.2 Patch!

Hello,

It has come to my attention that, today, the new patch for the already dead game Call of Duty 2 has been released. You probably know that I was absent because Call of Duty 2 has been dead, and I did not feel the want to play it. With the new patch, I would like to play it again and see if it is any better.

I have also heard that people are unable to play the mod on the updated version, probably because the updated version uses updated files that I also have to include. Right now, I am busy with updating BJR to version 2.1.2, which will be released immediately when it is fully functional. Please, be patient, for it will take a little while.

You would have to play with stock settings for now, but you can always use the weapons files from BJR only for some realism.

That's a relief. Reverting to the arcade like original version is unthinkable so I was thinking of tossing the update and reinstalling the previous version. Cheating is not a problem in our tiny group so PB isn't needed anyway.

Bless you Bjusters yeh rich spent over 5 hours last night trying everything to get the Bj mod running with the new patch of course he could not so we are running stock at the moment. We will take your advice and use the weapons from the BJ mod on our server and wait for you to release the new BJ. P.S thanks for all your hard work with this mod it realy is worth it.

BJR 2.1.2 and an updated version of the taunts are both running on our server now. BJustReal 2.1.2 will be released in a few days, after testing.

BJ from now on always upload the mod to the COD2 folder too and not only the BJR folder. That way I can start using and testing the http redirect. Remember not to zip the file when you upload it to the COD2 folder.

When playing on the server Tonight I get lag spikes. Same also to Grish and Scope and we get it at the exact same moment no matter where we are in the map. I got this also on a modded rifle only server too. Before 2.1.2 was put on the server it was running fine with the stock settings. I think that there is a conflict somewhere maybe cos it doesn't happen on a few other mods although as I say a rifle only server I was playing earlier had the same and the lag lasts for about 2-3 seconds and you can't do anything and it happens about every 1 minute. It's really strange but at the moment it's on the verge of being unplayable. Scope and Grish both agreed with that too.

I'll have to play stock settings or other mods for the time being. :-(

Since you played on other modded servers Zero it wight be a conflict between mods in your main folder also.
Try taking out all mods you have in your main folder and try again.
If it is Bjustreal then all of us should have the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case as my game runs better then before and I have no lag at all.

Try finding out what all 3 of you have in common and we might find the cause for this.

I never had any problems with conflicts with mods before the patch but I have now emptied the folder and I have just played about 1 hour on our server and not 1 lag spike. That could be the reason although the server only had about 6 people on. For the true test I need to try Tonight and if it's still fine then I think that will be the reason.

So to the other guys this is affecting clear out all those other mods and give it a try.

I do not understand nothing!!!! On your server, you in mod BJustReal and nevertheless I not nothing downloaded except "bjuster-taunts".
How do you have to install the mod without that one must download it? ????

Comment avez-vous installer le mod sans que l'on doive le télécharger?????

The mod is not downloaded automatically anymore (thanks to the patch :) ), it is a server-side mod. We are still testing and the mod will be released very soon. After that, you can download it from our site and I will also send it to codfiles.
