Question for BJ?

Bj would you be willing to create a version of BJ just for DL, with some of the settings lowered and maybe recoil for the mp44?

The reason why some DL clans don't like BJR imo is:

- spread of the weapons while moving, can we lower that a bit more so you have some accuracy when moving but still better stop to use Iron sight?
- Power of the semi's, can we lower it a bit so the bolds have an even bigger advantage on the damage points of view.
- decrease the time to scope in and out on the sniper?
- lower pistol power
- lower the fall damage please BJ as even BJ lovers think it is too high.

I think if we can make a DL version with these adjustments that we won't risk clans signing out of DL if they are ever gonna use BJR?

I have already lowered the spreads significantly with the last changes and that version is unknown to DL.

No, I do not want to do that, it stays a realism mod. I do have another alternative: lower ROF!

I have done that before and right the minute after it was uploaded, everyone started mass complaining about it. I would like to do it, but I don't think people will be happy with it.

Pistol is actually only really useful in close combat fighting. It has a terrible long range accuracy and the damage reduces quite fast over distance. I would be killed if someone shot me with a pistol in my torso in close quarters.

I think we could come to an agreement here. Maybe it is a tad bit too high, but I don't want players to be able to jump from a second storey window unharmed.

I don't know about a special DL version. BJR is BJR and I do not think that I am going to make radical changes for something or someone. And by the way, if the majority of the clans do not like BJR, they will not use it in DL anyway.

well so far the vote is 50/50 BJ
Just lower the fall damage then. And if possible bring the shotgun closer to the original settings.

Oh yes and Bj can we get a 2.2 release ready for public use with the changes you made, it seems there is going tobe a second testsession with BJR and TW!
So this means we have a chance of making minor adjustments and make the mod a bit more popular.

On the realism point of view, to me the following things won't make the mod less realistic.

Better performance of the shotgun
lowerfall damage
better accuracy for mg's at close range (even when moving, find a way inbetween stock and bjr settings?)
keep the rate of fire on the semi's, imo they are less powerfull then bolts at the mom and more powerfull then mg's so that is ok I guess.

Ok, I have uploaded a newer version of BJR to the server with lower fall damage and a slightly more damaging shotgun. You can test it this evening and tell me what you think.
