Hi all. I thought I'd give the movie making malarky a go but I have a problem. Everytime I load a demo up in Seismovision it fails. Do I need to place the correct mod in the "mod" field. Or can I leave it blank?
Did you all use Seismovision? Or did you use something else to scan through your demos looking for the good bits to record in Fraps? I havn't registered for fraps so I can only do 30secs per recording but I'm guessing that I'll be able to "thread" all the little recordings toghether in Windows Moviemaker?
So many questions! :-)
Any help would be much apreciated. Thanks.

I can help if you want:p
Seismovision: first you must have the seismovision 3 (only that version supports cod2)
you can leave the mod field.
why it fails is some mod or file that disturbes. so clean the main file.
or if it doesn't work there is a check box (beneth the mod field i think:p)
the check box reset the demo controls.. so then you can't rewind, stop, etc..
so clean main first.
talk with me on teamspeak if you dare:p
cheers matey;)
fraps: the version 2,5 final you don't have to register, why the 30 sec recording, is a option you have, and can change. Because the fraps files get aweful BIG it's a security so you won't do a 3 gig record:p so install fraps where you have a lot of free disc space

Yes I have Seismovision 3. I'll clear the Main folder and let you know when I can. Going out for dinner now so I'll try it Tomorrow. Cheers.

OK Seismovision now works and loads up my demo. (Cleared the main folder). But, How do I control my demo e.g. Fastforward, Rewind etc?
EDIT. Found the keys but you can't rewind though :-(

Right I've made my movie but I wanna add music. I have Itunes but I can't seem to import my music from that. I also saved a song from a CD onto my HD but it won't allow that either.
What do I need to do?

what edit program did you do the movie in?

Moviemaker.
I'm just installing Napster because hopefully songs are .mp3 and moviemaker supports them.

OK I found a music conversion program so I have sorted the music.
I have tried saving the video to my computer but it will not allow me. So many problems with this damn thing.

Mmmm. I think I'm gonna start again. Still won't save it but I tried a quick test on another TEST movie and that worked fine.
Hopefully second time lucky.

Start again with new material I think. For some reason some of the footage seems corrupt and won't save. Very strange.
After spending a full day doing this I'm gonna give it a rest for a while I think.
